Latest Event Review

September 12 2010

Finally we had some land that had some rolling terrain that we could access, well for a while at least. A big thanks to Damien Harrison for building a new access road into the pits, though due to the high water table proved to be a bit of a challenge getting in. Great turnout considering the events a week before which turned alot of lives upside down. Day started out great though we had to cut the track a bit short as areas were still too wet and cutting up very quickly. Things were drying out by lunchtime and was looking to be a great day until the spitting started which set off a instant bog in the car park. Thanks to all who patiently waited while everyone was towed out.

According to my spys Damien has been busy grooming everthing preparing for our re-run this weekend, and along with the better weather has dired out considerably. Hope to see you all there again for another fun day. This time we will definitely be running our feature fun races.

Super Brian

Nelson to stay with Brian Heaphy from Moto X Events ,and his lovely wife & children, to try out one of his events. Well, I don't know where the "sunny"bit comes from but after Brian's rain dance backfired, it sure wasn't that.....................(more to come)

Well, the track condition was completely opposite to our first event which made for interesting riding, but we survived.................(more to come)

April 18 2010

Our maiden event went off with out any hitches. Numbers were down on what we were expecting based on feedback and flier downloads prior to the event, but to be honest, it was a perfect size group to start off with. I guess having to compete with the Springfield trail ride and the NZ Junior Nationals in Blenheim didn't help things, but we had to get the ball rolling somehow, and this was going to be it.

The previous weekend had been perfect for track conditions, but due to lack of rain, the track started getting a bit dusty by lunch time...................(more to come)
